Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS) is an interbank fund transfer system that enables bulk or one-to-one transactions between participating banks and financial institutions (BFIs). It supports account-to-account payments (Direct Credit) and collections (Direct Debit).

Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC) is an image-based, cost-effective, MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) cheque processing & settlement solution where an original paper cheque is converted into an image for electronic processing of the financial transactions between participating member Banks/FIs. Clearing is of two types: inward clearing (instruments received from other banks for payment) and outward clearing (instruments sent to other banks for collection). Customers can present the cheques at the nearest branch of its bank, who will process the transactions using NCHL-ECC.
